What's in it for you?

Time and Money

With so many patients unable to access obesity services there is a huge private market that is already paying for obesity treatments. By joining those healthcare professionals in the private market you are helping reduce the waiting times and burden on the NHS as well as being in charge of your own time and having control of your own finances and how much you need to work.

Knowledge

To help those living with overweight and obesity and to do it in a safe and compliant way

Be stimulated mentally and receive gratitude for your hard work

These are a group of patients that show real gratitude because you are able to change their lives and improve their health for the better.

Reduce complications

Some obesity medicines have been proven to reduce strokes, heart attacks and deaths from those causes. By providing an efficacious reduction in cardio metabolic risk you are improving patients life and potentially life expectancy

Consult from where you want when you want

Many obesity services are now fully remote. Learn how this can be done in a safe and compliant way enabling you to reduce the dead time of travel to and from work and of home visits.

Why were the courses created?

It was apparent that there was a lack of good quality learning opportunities for the primary care physician. Little was provided by the usual societies for the GP and their team and so the decision was taken to offer teaching and training to help GPs with this unmet need. The teaching is accredited by the CPD service.
